Unlike many "fake 4K" releases, Warner’s team performed a native 4K scan of the OCN (Original Camera Negative). The difference is staggering. In the theatrical 4K release of Superman II (Lester cut), the grain structure is muddled. In the Donner Cut 4K, the grain is tight, organic, and cinematic. You can see the weave of the cape.
