Te3n is a remake of the 2013 South Korean film Montage . The story revolves around a grandfather, John Biswas (Amitabh Bachchan), whose 8-year-old granddaughter was kidnapped and murdered eight years prior. The case remained unsolved. When a similar kidnapping occurs on the anniversary of the first crime, a retired police officer (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) and the current police chief (Vidya Balan) are drawn back into the web of mystery.
