This paper explores the significance, history, and availability of Guru Granth Sahib Ji , the central religious scripture of Sikhism, in the Italian language. As the Sikh diaspora in Italy has grown to become one of the largest in Europe, the need for accessible translations of the scripture has become paramount. This document analyzes the transition from exclusive reliance on Punjabi and English translations to the emergence of Italian translations (PDF and print), the challenges of translating sacred Gurmukhi script, and the resources currently available for the Italian Sangat (congregation).
