Czech Streets - Petra -

Following a map of instincts rather than streets, Petra drifted toward the river. A farmers’ market spilled color and texture onto the square: jars of plum jam, stacked carrots with feathery tops, and bouquets of wildflowers tied with twine. She bought a chunk of aged cheese and a warm plum pastry to eat on a bench by the Vltava. Boats passed slowly; a street musician tuned a violin nearby and nodded at the rhythm of the water.
