The core of the criminal case, however, shifted from the video's authenticity to a darker allegation: that a well-known actor, Dileep, was the mastermind behind a criminal conspiracy to kidnap, assault, and visually record Bhavana in order to tarnish her reputation and exact revenge for her alleged role in his marital discord and exclusion from a film producers' association.
